Our current portfolio is focused around small-molecule drug candidates for treating Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and schizophrenia. Mithridion is currently establishing relationships with leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies with the aim of getting to know each other, and demonstrating our strengths and our progress towards milestones. While recognizing that partners might want to see clinical proof-of-concept (i.e. Phase II trial results) before licensing a drug candidate, the company also recognizes that partnerships might be struck at any stage of development, depending on the interests of the parties. Providing it makes economic sense and provides investors with a good return on their investment, Mithridion is open-minded about earlier stage partnerships. To achieve these objectives, Mithridion uses a mix of individual company meetings, proactively set up by the company, participation in regional and national conferences (see Events Calendar), referrals from investors and other stakeholders, such as university technology transfer offices, and public relations.
